DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW?

I THOUGHT I KNEW, FOR SURE I thought I had it I thought it was mine I thought I knew it I even said so With that confirmation Tucked away safely in my head I went about my way Not knowing I didn’t know Tragedy struck My first born gone in a second I thought I knew Just knowing I knew It came again Death in my own brood I didn’t know I was sure I knew Beatings and pain I knew Divorce I met Poverty I was given I surely knew Love and marriage revisited Sweet as honey, sour as vinegar Infidelity...
