I grew up in church. After I married, went away to school I just turned away. But I came to realize I had only known of him, even if I prayed daily. I did not have that great assurance I have today. Of course you know what I mean. Thank you so for your kind words.

That knowing makes all the difference in the world.  I so sorry that you had to go through such sorrows and hardships before you came to know Him.

Wow, well said & written!
You know you know when you know you know!  You know, I once knew nothing, especially when I actually thought I knew everything (at 20 something I suppose).  After all the trials & tribulations you then conclude; I knew not of this pain, each pain being very different.  Then each pain gets a little easier knowing; this too shall pass...eventually, but then there is the moment when the light comes on and standing before you is the truth, ahhhhhh...it's such a wondeful feeling to know you know when you know you know...HIM, in all his glory!  Blessings to you. Excellent piece!
