First Day Ever

With Dad leaving for his Myrtle Beach vacation yesterday, I thought that yesterday would be my first day as the point of contact. Not so. Dad left at around 6 p.m., which was his plan all along. The idea of being the point of contact used to make me shudder. The point of contact is the person to call when the car washes have mechanical issues while Dad is away. Back to Work on a Slow Day

Feeling fine, I returned to work yesterday. Going back to work was not an adjustment for me. I felt as though I had never been gone. Yesterday was slow. Two reasons were in play. Now Rarely Sick

I have written about how often I got sick in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, I had four upper respiratory infections. In 2012, I had three upper respiratory infections, a minor code and one hell of a flu virus. The frustration of getting sick often wore on me mentally. Physically, I did not feel right....
