How can exhaustion be this dramatic in just two days?

Yesterday I got a call at work to say my Mom was being taken by ambulance to the hospital after a fall in the parking lot of her doctor's office. After six hours of waiting, it turns out she has broken her arm, right up at the top where the bone enters the shoulder joint. It can't be casted so she... Sign in to see full entry.
