Star4you

Thank you for the advice, I called one of those services and they do have people available. It will be expensive but well worth the money.

I know DIVA, it's hard, but believe that god will give you the strength
Having some nurse on call visit her will be great, usually nursing assistants are able to come home and stay with patients if they are in need, u need to contact a travelling nurses and aides office, or ask the social service people. This will help you a lot to give you a break. Caring for others is a full time job, and if you have one more regular job, it's not easy. My prayers with mom and you.

I haven't had a chance to leave you a comment on  your posts about bullies yet. Maybe we could set my Mom onto those girls, she'd tell them !!

My Mom is really independent and finding the imobility very frustrating. I hope for her sake she can move around a bit easier soon.

That is tough luv, I am sorry. Yes, I did it for about a year after my dad died and poor old mum took to the bottle.

Guess that's why God sobered me up years ago. Finally she moved in with my sister Maggie, lived there about 6 years, and then we had to get her in a home.

She died after a fall, broke her hip, but they said she was full of cancer as well, just never complained you know?  She was 86 when she died.

If there's any way I could help, I would luv

It is a drain on you. I've done it with both my parents.

Hope your mom heals fast and well.
