Goldiec asked this in the comments, but I'll answer here: For several years the space Charlie and I are moving into was, we are told, a 'social club for bikers.' It was painted entirely black inside, and had some kinda peculiar electrical and lighting arrangements. The management has painted over the black and it is now white in the display rooms and the workshop is a very pale beige sort of color.
