Winter storm!
When I hear "storm!" I think of mighty winds and blinding snow or rain or pitch-forks-and-hammer-handles... But all night the snow here has been falling gently, silently down, piling up the inches, making no fuss, yet closing schools and breaking appointments and delaying shopping. It is quiet, and it is persistant. This morning we are getting a bit of wind with it, and the forecast suggests there will be getting stronger winds through today, and that the snow will continue through mid...
