Looking to the East
The Duolingo Chinese lessons are progressing. I find I am good with numbers, great with matters relating to food and basic greetings, but not so much with introductions and advanced greetings. It eaches, all at the same time, the sounds and tonalities, and the characters for each item. This makes my brain stretch, and is probably very good for it: I am probably delaying the onset of dementia by several months!
