I used to multi-task a lot in my job and home and with children...

but the older I get, I find myself getting distracted. Like I'll go to the bathroom from the kitchen and intend to go back to the kitchen to finish the cleaning up after we have had our breakfast. Well my ex-sister-in-law is coming for a visit but I really never thought

of her as being the "X". We always got along so well even after her and my husband's brother divorced a long time ago. I almost forgot my password to this site:) it has been way too long.

But I really do have some good excuses:) It is summer! What else is there to say? That means yard work; mowing, weeding, hoeing, sweating, watering, clipping and whatever else one does in their yard in summer. Getting ready for a little get-away-in-the-sun. The days seem to fly by and

before I look up again, it is the weekend. I am definitely ready for a break. I volunteered to help a couple in our church who would be considered a "pack-rat" or "hoarder" and in order for them to get home health to come in and help them, the "stuff" in their house had to be manageable. Every room has a task to be worked on. Where do I start first, I ask?

The rain came and then it was gone... Well the forecast said a really

good chance of some real rain was on its way yesterday. It came but it sure didn't last very long but any is welcome. I'm afraid the yard and garden will be getting the tap water this summer. It's time to start again...having lost a few weeks of checking on Blogit,

Facebook and emails.......... Only going to chiropractor once a week instead of 3 times a week now. Have tried to cut back on pulling weed, mowing and bending so much in the flower beds and picking up heavy things. Do you know how hard it is to not USE YOUR HANDS?? I thought I could act like a teenager again and so back last month ...

when we were watching one grandson play flag football, we were also entertaining the youngest one on the sidelines. I picked him up (6yrs old) and swung him around a few times. Well, hopefully this is our last Cold Spell! I just have 88 plants and .

vegetables in my little greenhouse that is just bursting at the seams to get out of there!! When the sun is out, it can get pretty "warm" in there but I try to open all the windows on the sides that the wind doesn't come in and blow everything to pieces!
