It seems to have been awhile... guess I've been busy or maybe just lazy!

Some days it is nice and warm here so as on Tues. I gave my front yard a little TLC. Raked all the leaves (and there were many) out into the yard from under the shrubs and mowed over them mulching them as I went. Then I returned them under the shrubs once again. Texas weather, you gotta love it! Yesterday it was almost 75 degrees...

and now today we have ice and snow on the ground and around 28 degrees! We were at the two youngest grandsons' flag football games yesterday and people had their shorts and flip-flops on and now we huddle by the fireplace on a Sunday afternoon. I have spent 7 hours today helping my granddaughter in one tiny...

room. I left the cat at the shelter for about two weeks and then...

I just had to go see if he was alright and if he had adjusted to his new surroundings and whatever. And what do you think I found? He wasn't there. My life has gone to the "dogs"! I mean "Cats"! Well, my newest...

kitty that I named Foxy got into an awful fight with some other cat and he came out the Loser!!! His eye was swollen shut and a gash behind his ear gave the 'tale' away.
