Whew! We have a monster storm rolling through the area. The temperature dropped from 102 to 85 in about ten minutes. It almost feels cold! This is supposed to be the last of the 'super hot' days we have for a while, making it to 100 before the rain hits us and hopefully bringing us cooler weather for a week or more. According to the thermometer in the car and the radio station, it is 104 here right now with an extremely high humidity level. That made the ride to and from Tallahassee a real joy! It's 'only' 101 here right now with a 90% humidity. My computer is crying it is running hot, so I am putting my short story, 'Kosmic Karma' down because it is too bloody hot to sit at this desk. Another 100+ day ahead. At 10 AM, we were already at 96. Yippie. I found a slightly used box fan for sale in a local yard sale, so I am going to attempt to work on a short story idea. Ha! I posted here that Amazon had declined a short story after ten days of 'review.' I called them and after then minutes of dorking around, they have now agreed I do own the story and it is on its way to be published.
