It's finally Friday, and I couldn't be happier. This week has been disappointing on a dozen different levels, and I'm glad to call it done. I know I was supposed to be gone today, but when I looked outside at 6:45 this morning, the fog was extremely thick and heavy. Traffic on I-10 and I-75 are nuts on any day, but there have been too many fog-related accidents this summer, and it wasn't worth dying over. I let the dogs out/in and went... I've been hoping it would stop raining long enough for the grass to dry out so I can mow the yard without having to stop every ten feet to clear the clogged grass. I will be heading back south tomorrow to finish the business I didn't quite get done last week. I'm not thrilled with that idea, but it has to happen, so if nothing changes, I will be gone about 7 a.m. and will return late at night. After 'full moon watching' for an hour or so last night, we watched as another storm skirt moved in, and clouds and rain began to fall again.
