Grandma's House is a Mess, swept the floors today

The grandchildren trashed the garden and studio as usual and I haven't done a thing to repair it all. I have been working at switching to my new computer and getting out my clay order and fighting identity thieves and well, I'll be gone for awhile, cleaning and switching computers and all that. Shall miss you. Sign in to see full entry.

Google your own phone number, g'wan do it, scary

I googled my phone number and found my address there and links to relatives and their addresses. Scary. You can request that it be removed right there on the page where you see it. It takes 48 hours, and it still shows everywhere else, but one small step for security, no? It EVEN shows a MapQuest map giving directions to your home sweet home. Sigh............. Four Grandchildren Today, the dogs were so happy........

I had all four today on separate and combined shifts. My youngest son came here with four Valentines of fuzzy animals and huge chocolate things for them and they were very happy. Except for the one granddaughter who spit her chocolate across the room and into the garbage, saying that it was the 'yucky' kind. Spoiled little things. My daughter gave me a bag full of old and broken jewelry for my art projects and my oldest granddaughter went through it and liked some things, so they were passed... Sign in to see full entry.

Grandchildren taught me how to use PAINT and I'm now a gif maker

IF, see my previous post here, I hadn't learned of the existence of PAINT on my computer with the help of my eight year old grandson, I never would have been able to make the gif that I proudly display today in my TECH BLOG. What a gift he gave me. I adore him. Thanks, Little Robert. Sign in to see full entry.

Grandchildren Teach an Old Woman New Tricks on Her Old Computer

My grandson walked over to my computer the other day when visiting me for three hours and called up the Paint Pad or whatever it is that I have ignored these many years. He began to draw things and quickly made a spectacular piece of digital artwork. Well, needless to say, when he had gone home and I had finished working, I walked over to the computer and fired up the Paint Pad and made a pretty little impressionistic drawing of a tree in a garden. What fun! I especially liked the spray paint... Sign in to see full entry.

Creative Uses for Dryer Lint-----MerryAnne

Here at Abuelita's house we have tons of it. I have to wash and dry things frequently as I am allergic to my dogs. So, the red blanket lint: The grandchildren used it to form little bird's nests inside wooden bowls and they then climbed the trees and placed them in the forks of branches. The navy blue blanket lint: We formed into sculpture on paper, with ridges and scrolls and lines. Quite lovely. The white woolen blanket: Lint used to stuff stocking dolls for the dogs to tear apart as Christmas... Sign in to see full entry.

So Much Love

I have four dogs and a cat and four grandchildren today. I am the Queen of Babysitting. My son has taken the girls to the Mall to spend their Christmas Cash and I have the boys playing video games here while I type. We are about four feet apart and they keep asking me to look at the t.v. screen and I am refusing to do so, as there appears to be a monster or body there each time that I look. I just heard the word 'merde' in English and raced into the room to see that they had put on a forbidden... Sign in to see full entry.

Grandma Abuelita Benzinha kissing this blog good-bye. Ciao.

I was overly enthusiastic when I first arrived here at the BN and started ten thousand blogs. I loved the whole idea of imparting of my ancient wisdom in all areas and on all subjects. I must get back to my real business, trying to get my artwork massed produced in China and then ripped off and copied internationally. No really....I have to make some prototypes and haven't been able to get control of my moments on Earth. I am too old to be scattered and shall die soon and so I shall concentrate... I had finished planning our next pretend trip, to India this time, when the

grandchildren stopped by to say that they were going away for a month to their other grandmother's house in Missouri. The other two grandchldren have a swim teacher coming to their house daily and won't be coming by either. So, I am free to just work my life away again and it just isn't any fun this week. No big plans to surprise the kids, to distract my mind. So, I cleaned off my work table, set out all of my tools, prepared all the raw materials and went to the library to check out 25 more...
