This place, Chapala, is five minutes from Ajijic, where I want to live.

Our Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead Observance, a photo slide show.
I took days to build the altares and they were not finished when photographed here in the slide show, but had fruit, foods, drinks and flowers added later. The celebration was lovely and made lovelier because it included the group of elementary school teachers studying at the U of Arizona for one year, who attended dressed in their native pueblo clothing. They are all from Mexico and Guatemala and need to practice their English more. I am going to try to find more places for them to interact...

Our city fathers are losing their idiot minds here in Tucson.
My sister has a day care center and her licensing fees are jumping from $150 for three years to $18,000. They under charged for years and just noticed as they have not paid attention to anything in decades, and now they want to greedily, cut all spending except their own pie pieces and then punish all care givers within these business fields. I am pissed. My sister wrote this to me>>>>>This is my fee going up from $300 for both schools to $18,000:) for a three year license. Because they can........

Investigating Social Security benefits and grandchildren visiting Mexico.
My benefits are very complicated and getting my grandbabies out of the country for short visits to learn Spanish will be a real challenge. I am up for the challenge of moving down to Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, for six months, at first. And I am looking forward to learning all about how to get this going and moving forward. It all begins with a list and some prayers, I'm thinking. Then Faith.....then, foolishness?!?!?!? Hehehehehehehhhhh

My daughter's family has moved back to town. I ran to hug the grandchildren
and the parents, not missing the tiny Yorkshire love hug, too. I took a van full of my DIL's day care children and four grandchildren, nope five grandchildren, for a final visit to the water park on River Road at Dodge. It is free and normally, when the temp is 104, it is heaven. The temp had dropped to 86 and the children were shivering, blue lipped and purple. We taught them to stretch out on the cement sidewalks to reheat their little bodies and then they ran back for more. Told them about...

Disgusted by a song at a football game tonight...
It is called "Don't Trust Me" by 3OH!3 and it is disgusting. Sanctioned music at a football game of highschool children and these are the lyrics...... Why can't I be in charge of my universe?
I would take my granddaughter and grandson from their arguing parents and send them to Mexico to live for two years with people who never raise their voices and who caress children's faces with love constantly. They would learn Spanish forever and be renewed away from her present worries. I would earn much more money to be able to visit Ohio grandchildren very often, while staying in a motel and renting a car. Oh well, I don't really know just what the heck that I would do, as my mind is all...
