Living without money!???

As a means to get into "writing mode" I sometimes just idly surf around, see what I find, what comes up. I did that this morning and found "living without money". Naturally, I clicked on it and what came up is this: a German lady by the name of Heidemarie Schwermer has managed to live for 13 years... Sign in to see full entry.

A new literary travel magazine

I'm always on the look out for new magazines to write for and when I discover one, I post it here for those of you who share the same style of writing. Combining literature or art with travel is right up my alley and so far there was only one magazine which does that. It's www.literarytraveler.com.... Sign in to see full entry.

One of the art enthusiasts I met at the Clifford Bailey exhibition was a fire fighter. He was a nice guy and we had quite a conversation. Among other things he told me something which left me speechless: did you know that an increasing number of traffic accidents is caused by drivers who not only... Sign in to see full entry.

Party pictures

What a wondeful evening that was. The venue was the Miracle Theater which used to be a cinema and is now a real theater. Very much Old World, very European and the ideal background for the subject of Cliffird Bailey's paintings. At the door, the proud parents. Background music was provided by a jazz... Party time tonight...

I met one nice couple and co-museum member on the cruise. Their son is an artist in California and tonight he has an exhibition in the Miracle Theatre in Miami. They have invited me to come and a) I will because they are nice, b) I will because I like his style. Look for yourselves: Reminds me a bit... Sign in to see full entry.
