Endicott Arm

Morning at sea

It is not quite 7 AM, a steward just dropped off croissants and tea, and the sun is rising over Vancouver Island. Between here and there, another ship much like this one cruises along. Cruising right along...

First day on the road

My appointment time for picking up my passport was at 2pm but I was ready to head out by 11, and had the quivery anxiety in my middle, so I didn't wait until 12:30 as was my original plan. Alternate routes

Driving up to Boulder a couple of days ago, about 20 miles from the junction with I-70, the reader sign over the highway--I-25--said the time to 70 was 50 minutes. Sonoran Desert

Driving southeast towards Tucson AZ, we traveled through the Sonoran desert, and when we stopped at a rest area east of Tucson along Hwy 10, I took a few pictures.
