Egypt New Beginnings I

Well it is official. The money was finally able to be sent and according to their bank it was received by my bank. I am just waiting on it to be credited to my account in the morning. Egypt XXXVII final entry for this trip

We eat a new kind of falafel for me. It is filled with spices in the center. We eat it with bread on the train back to Cairo. We arrive late in Cairo. Egypt XXXVI

We walk to the train station to buy his ticket to take some of our things back to Cairo. We try to pay for his ticket with a fifty pound note but the clerk doesn’t have change for it. Egypt XXXV

Feb 20 th My dizzy spells continue and seem to be getting worse. We look for a doctor close by but keep getting sent elsewhere. Finally we find a hospital but the doctor won’t be there until 8:30pm that night. It’s a private hospital or otherwise it would be cheaper to see him than the forty pounds... Feb 16th There is a bakery nearby us. They have these marvelous looking cakes and tortes. We bought mom’s torte there. I have had my eye on this chocolate cake since we first went there to pick out mom’s torte. They sell it by the piece at San Stefano’s Mall. We each get a slice with frozen... We shop at the metro again. This time is cheaper at only forty-seven dollars. We find flour tortillas finally. Feb 4 th I have a bad dream. I wake up early. I clean the flat. I wash the dishes, fold the laundry, clean the dining room table and put away the playing cards.
