What a full moon!

Oh, what a beautiful full moon I woke up to this morning. The landscape was lit by the bright moonlight. My moonflowers shone with a luster reserved only for nights when they are illuminated by the full moon. The morning glories will be just as beautiful when they pop open this morning still bathed... Tuesday's are better than Monday's

Tuesday’s are better than Monday’s. I have figured out they are about 20% better. How did I arrive at that figure? I used direct observation, linear regression, high calculus, and a pretty darn good guess! Don’t we all use this method to figure out things? I have written 50,463 words this month in... Random thoughts

It is Monday morning. I hate Monday’s. It is back to work after a pretty nice weekend. I need to hit the lottery or have some good fortune come my way so I don’t have to get up and go to work. I am working on several things for the future and the long run. So I just have to continue to work until it... Sign in to see full entry.

It's the day after my birthday, but it's Friday

It is the day after my birthday. I always hate this day. Yesterday was so much fun. I got cake. I got gifts. Today I’ll just be little, old me again. No one will worry too much with me. I will be fine though. I think I will make it. I got some money and a gift certificate to Home Depot. I got a... Sign in to see full entry.

it's my birthday and other ramblings

It’s my birthday day. I am 47 years old. I feel a lot younger. I act a lot younger. The young people at work don’t think I am as old as I am. I think that is a good sign. I will continue to try and feel young. I have been taking better care of myself and doing all the stuff I should have been doing... Sign in to see full entry.

Just rambling this morning

It is 72 degrees this morning with a humidity reading of around 60%. That is not too bad, but it could be better. I want some cooler weather. We should have some 60’s for the end of the week in the mornings. My birthday is tomorrow. I will be 47-years old. I am ready for some gifts. I don’t want... Sign in to see full entry.

Tuesday thoughts to begin the day

It is 71.9 degrees this morning and the humidity is 65%. That is still much too warm. I am ready for some cooler weather. We also need some rain. I say that everyday. Both are coming in time. I will just have to water my garden to help it out. Work was OK yesterday. That is the best I can say about... Sign in to see full entry.

More on "We, the people" and some great comments

I got several wonderful responses to my journal entry yesterday about the issue of “We, the people”. I really enjoyed them and the responses made me think. I don’t think I will change my opinion of what I thought about the whole deal. One of the comments was what if “the people” decided to legalize... Sign in to see full entry.

We, the people.......

In my home state of Louisiana voters approved a ban on same sex marriages by a 4-1 margin. That is not the issue I want to raise here. I have a larger one on my mind that needs to be addressed. The gay and lesbian lobby will now take the whole thing to court. All they will need to do is find one... Sign in to see full entry.

Thoughts on a Saturday morning

It's early on Saturday morning and I will write this journal entry and then go to work. I have to go in for a bit. I have a few things to do, but that is not the real reason. It makes you look good to the bosses when you go in on Saturday. They really like that. I don’t usually play the game like... Sign in to see full entry.
