We made a Stormy Monday; will Tuesday be as bad?

It was not a great day yesterday weatherwise. It was warm, damp, and mostly ugly. We had some rain, but it was not real stormy. I just wanted to make reference to the old song, Stormy Monday. I knew a girl once and her nickname was Stormy. After dating her for a while I understood where she got the... Sign in to see full entry.

It's Monday; it's raining; it's hard to get up; it's .....

15 NOVEMBER 2004 MONDAY 5:25 A.M. CST The only thing worse than a nice, sunny Monday morning would be a dreary, wet one. We have a rainy and fairly raw Monday morning to get our week off to a start. We have not seen the sun since the middle of last week. When the sun does shine again I will surely... Sign in to see full entry.

Sunday afternoon

I wrote a post earlier in the “mature audiences” section. So this will be my first post of the day here. I had plans to write big time today, but that has not happened as of yet. I will see how it goes for the rest of the day. I might get a chance to write plenty or I may not. I am cooking some soup... Sign in to see full entry.

Saturday morning and a few answers to questions!

It is a little before 7 on this great Texas Saturday morning and we have already had a whirlwind of activity at the Sarooster household. The wife and niece have already left for the food bank. They will work until noon. We have finished with all our dog and cat chores and now it is time to sit down... Sign in to see full entry.

Man, it's finally Friday and other thoughts in general

It is Friday. That is the day I always look for. I get very happy on Friday. I just love my weekends. Some people say if they won the lottery they would still have to work. I am not one of those people. I could not work in a heartbeat. It is a cool, crisp, clear morning to start today. Our... Sign in to see full entry.

The end of the tunnel is drawing ever closer!

Good Thursday morning! We wake up to 58 degrees and 65% relative humidity this morning. That is nice. We will have another partly cloudy day with a high near 80. That is just about perfect weather. It just does not get much better than this. Yassar Arafat finally died. There has been much... Sign in to see full entry.

Week is moving along well.

We are at the middle of the week today. This is the day that I begin seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I can see Friday. I can see some hope for the end of the week. That is just fine with me. It is 60 degrees this morning with a 60% relative humidity. Today we will have partly sunny skies and... Sign in to see full entry.

I made it through Monday; now it's a breeze!!

I made it through another Black Monday. It was not that bad. On the other hand it could have been much better. I did make it though and I will be fine from here on out I think. We brought our niece to the psychiatrist. It is going to take some medicine to help her out. As much as we hate to do that... Sign in to see full entry.

It's another one of those Monday's!

It’s Monday already. How do they come around so fast? It seems like it was Monday a couple of days ago. I think it will be fine though. I have made it through a bunch of Monday’s now and I suspect this one with be the same. I will pull through some kind of way. We are having some nice weather as of... Sign in to see full entry.

Sunday morning thoughts!

It is a wonderful Texas Sunday morning here in the Lone Star State. We have wonderfully clear and crisp skies with a temperature of 53 degrees. The low this morning was one degree cooler so that was a very nice start to our day. I have been up and doing my animal thing and reading and writing on... Sign in to see full entry.
