The Physics of Superman: Debunking the Debunker

So there's a show coming on the Science Channel called The Science of Superman. They're going to apply Newton's laws of motion to say that at Lois Lane's falling velocity due to gravity combined with Superman's upward velocity means that falling into his arms will kill her.
