Everybody must have some kind of extraordinary experience in their lives.. so do I.. My experience, might not be extraordinary from some other people's point of view, depending on the life and environment they live in, but I'll tell you my stories anyway.. if anything.. it might make you laugh and... Psychological Test..

Here it is again, at this time of the year.. (around Feb-March), the time for students observation to go to the higher level. I'm not only talking about High School.. it is also for KG kids now! Older people (my parents generations) are often laughing about it. It still feels a bit strange... Sign in to see full entry.

When Too Many People Misuse Credit Card..

If only.. Police can catch everyone who misuses credit cards for frauds (especially on the internet).. my life (and a lot of others) can be much easier.. There was a time when US merchants wouldn't take any credit cards at all from Indonesia, because of the frequent frauds committed by Indonesian... Sign in to see full entry.

Without a car...

When I thought my days were slowly getting stable.. new twists and turns suddenly jumped right out of the hidden corner! My youngest son just recovered from his bad sore throat and flu. Now my eldest son and myself caught it. He's temperature has been going up and down a bit since he can't stay... Sign in to see full entry.

The Passing of Former President Soeharto

Politics has always come across as a very complex thing to me (even dangerous sometimes), as the decisions made always juggling the priorities and interests of many different groups of people. A political leader can never make everyone happy at the same time, but people should be wise enough to... Sign in to see full entry.

We won’t be making him sit down to learn to... Sign in to see full entry.

Reading.. A Tricky Thing to Teach.. (1)

I used to think that because my eldest son has always been a curious child, it would not be difficult to teach him to read, especially since he is eager to write. But I was wrong.. When I met his teacher for his mid-year review, I was quite surprised to learn that he was still not interested in... Sign in to see full entry.

Juggling The Days..

When days like these happen.. I'm half happy, and half exhausted.. After days having difficulties getting into the internet (I guess people were still a bit carried away with the long holiday and the connection were still always very slow).. I'm now back 'fully-operational'! Fully occupied, from... Sign in to see full entry.

Learning to Live with A Bad Memory.. (part 6)

For a few nights I kept waking up in the middle of the night feeling restless, although without any bad dreams or tears. I slept but didn’t feel refreshed.. After a few days, I started remembering the bombing at the Embassy. I remembered the day, I remembered the people who were with me during the... Sign in to see full entry.

Learning to Live with A Bad Memory.. (part 5)

At the end of January 2005, I finally left Jakarta and flew to Oman (where my husband was working for a telecommunication company). Almost five months after the explosion. I was glad that I finally could be away from the bad memory, at least for some time, to have a fresh start in life.. However,... Sign in to see full entry.
