I feel like I rode to school in a covered wagon. I'm an antique!

Last evening I was helping little D.J. with his first grade homework and I was shocked to see the difference between his education and the one I got, way back in the “olden days.” My first grade experience involved things like, learning the difference between left and right, colors, the alphabet, how to zip up my coat and buckle up my rubber pullover boots and how to use scissors.
