Last Day Home Alone

My family will be coming back by Monday night. I have enjoyed the quiet, but am really starting to miss everyone and will be glad when they are home. Today is a cloudy, rainy, warmer day. Spring must be coming soon. I finished making 2 journals yesterday and will finish another today, if I don't run out of the special thread. I ordered some more, so it should be here in a few days. 5 minutes

I have 5 minutes. I am going to church. I really like this church. The worship music is really good and the people are very loving. There is a "pot luck" afterwards. I am very thankful to God I am still alive and so is He. He is so patient with us. A faithful and true God. Although he is invisible, what He does in my heart is not. I would probably be dead, if I hadn't heard the message that saved me. There are so many people out there, burnt by churches and christians. Their lives are a mess,... Sign in to see full entry.

Raccoons

At my brothers' house, out on the ranch where I grew up, we saw 5 raccoons outside the living room sliding glass door. They were eating cat food. One of them stood up and put his paws on the glass and looked in at us. My brother said they were only about 1/2 grown, and they were big. What a neat surprise. Sign in to see full entry.

Talking about home-made films

I can't believe I just wasted an hour. Well, not totally. I checked out my kid's you-tube movies they made. The best ones they did are not on you-tube (yet). Shocking Stunts is my favoRite! But you won't see it on You-tube, unless I can talk them into it and convince them it is worth it. But, one of my other favorites was "Bad acting", my kids and our friends did in Tucson. Saturday at last!

I got up late again, cause I didn't sleep well. I watched all the special features on "Mercy Streets". A very good film. I have the DVD and have seen it 3 or 4 times. After that I kept waking up. I better check the ingredients of my new vitamins I'm taking. This morning a friend called and needs a dog-sitter for a couple of weeks. It's a little dog, and my kids will all enjoy it alot I think. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
