Fireworks and Food

We went to see some fireworks with our friends. The Casino was celebrating the month they started. They shot 900 and they were pretty good. We had to leave early. My is it raining here. It is more desert here, so the rain is good. I bet my sister's road is one slick mess. She lives in the country on a dirt road. The last mile to her house has a really bad road that I would be scared to drive on in the mud. I think she has a 4-wheel drive. Gordon is going back to his college town tomorrow on the... Coffee shop trivia

Just came back from the cool coffee shop in our town. (If there's only one then you know a little about our town). Anyway I drank 2 cups of coffee. We met a girl who owns a 60's VW camper bus and talked to her. We might go look at some VW camper stuff for sale later today. The owner of the coffee shop said I could show my journals for sale on a Saturday. I can hang out till after lunch, write and drink coffee and try to sale crafts. Fun. Rain, Dreams, and Tinnitus

I just got up (very late). It's been raining outside. That is good, because we need the rain here. All night I was dreaming strange things. In one dream a little kid had gotten my cell phone and then maybe a dog, cause it was all chewed up. Then when I found it, it went bang and I knew it would never work again. Then I was thinking, "I should have gotten the insurance on my phone!" I just got out of the shower. We turned the water heater off yesterday around 6 pm. We are on the "time of use"... Work went well

Work went very well. My 14 year old son and 8 year old daughter helped and we got the offices cleaned in less than an hour. I was really tired, so drank a cup of coffee first. Once I got there though, I had a lot of energy. The family is watching a DVD. I am tired of watching movies and so I played the guitar awhile, which I haven't done in a long time. Tired, but a good day

I'm really tired and need to go to work in about 1/2 hour. I think my 2 teenage boys will come help. That will be nice. Today was a productive day. I worked a little over an hour for an elderly woman, helping her with laundry and hanging curtains up. She also is going to buy one of my blank journals next week. I went to the library to show one of the workers there my books. She really liked them and got my web-site. When I got home, I listed 5 more on etsy, which took awhile. now I have a total... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
