A Country Drive
I woke up about 7:00 this morning. Greg asked me if I wanted to go for a ride in the country where he was bidding a job. I said I would if he could get me some coffee at Starbucks on the way. When I say bidding a job, I don't mean against anyone else. He will either get it or he won't. It depends on if they like him and if they like the price. It was about 10 miles out of town on a paved road. It had a house at one time, but it burnt down about 10 years ago when a big prairie fire swept through.... Sign in to see full entry.

A long day
I just got home a little while ago. Today I cleaned a house for 4 hours. It is a really big house. What took so long is that I am trying to get the grout clean in her ceramic tiles. I did a small section today and it took an hour. Each time I work, I am going to do a little more. A bunch of churches got together to pray for our country. It was very amazing. My day
I actually got up at 6:00 today. I had already woke up at 4:30, when my daughter-in-law sent a text message. It was 6:30 in San Antonio where they live. So, at 6:00 I was able to get up. I went outside and saw that the day seemed like it would be sunny and warm. By 8:00 it had totally clouded up and was only 45 degrees F. Now it's 10:00 and is more like 55 degrees and partially sunny and windy. Today we are all making mother's day cards for Greg's mom. My mom died about 7 years ago. I did a... Thankful for work
I just got home awhile ago. In the morning the 4 children and I went to the athletic club. Clementina and I swam. I swam 4 laps (8 lengths). Clemy said 2 didn't count because I just floated on my back. I guess she's right, but I'm still counting them. If I go to the "wet" sauna for about 5 minutes, I'm hoping it will help clean my pores of the chlorine in the pool. Even though chlorine is bad, I need the exercise. The wet sauna is hot and steamy.
