Work, Meeting new friends and weekend plans

Now I'm cleaning the offices in the morning. We can only clean when there's another office person there, which is a bummer. But, we need to adjust and working in the morning is better now. I talked to my friend and it doesn't matter if we are bonded, it won't change the agencies' rules. So, when you can't change something you have to accept it. Today Petra, my 23 year old and Levi, my 17 year old came in to help. We got it all done in 1 hour. I found a blind in a new exam room that was so dusty... Sign in to see full entry.

I hate headaches but I'm home!

I took a nap and woke up with a bad headache. I need to really work on drinking more water. Can't really write more now, except to say that Greg changed the cleaning schedule to early morning because of construction they are doing at night that leaves a lot of dust. Also, since an office worker has to be there now when we clean, in the mornings it is more consistent and there will only be one or two secretaries versus 3-4 workers in the evening. Home Sweet Home

We're home! I was gone about a month. Seemed like forever and seemed like a very short time too. When we came home there were some improvements done to the yard and bathroom. Greg and the boys had cleaned the house and there were candles burning everywhere. Some of my plants died, but there was a beautiful fern on a table. We all went to the skate park for about an hour. I sat by the river and the boys skated. The girls all went on a walk. Greg has been contemplating getting an A/C unit or swamp... Sign in to see full entry.

Almost home!

We drove 16 hours, but finally made it to Ogden at about 11:30 pm Arizona time. (but it's 1 hour later here) I'm staying on Arizona time, because it's the same as Oregon. They do not do daylight savings time in AZ. The trip went well and we really only stopped for gas and a supper break, but I don't think I'll be eating at Wendy's anytime soon. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
