He satisfies us with good things

Today is the first day I haven't had time to even check blogit till now! I got to work a little late, then realized I had forgotten my backpack, which had the keys to all the offices. So, I called home and asked Greg to have Susannah get ready to help me. I went home, picked Susannah up and got my backpack. Because of her help, we got done in plenty of time before the receptionist and nurses got there. Then I cleaned the 3 remaining rooms. The rest of the day were filled with things such as:... Too tired to write much tonight

Too tired to write more than a line or two. Got up at 6:00. Work. Women's Bible Study, Shopping at the restaurant supply store. Went home. Took Susannah to gymnastics. Took Clemy to the Dollar store. Went back to gymnastics and watched Susannah and the others. They are fun to watch as their skills increase. Gideon made his fantastic gormet baked potatoes with olive oil and spices. A day at home

A very full and busy day. Basically I was home most of the day helping the children with their school work. In the afternoon I went grocery shopping. In the evening I made supper. We had zucchini, onions, and eggplant with some hamburger. We also had a big green salad with cucumbers that was good. And... some basmati rice. After supper I went through and checked all of Clemy's school work. It's starting to cool down. Today was partly cloudy and around 70 or so. It's supposed to rain the next 2... A Bat in the Night

I am taking advantage of my day off and resting. We went to church this morning and it was exceptionally good. We actually went in for the morning class. Right now the focus is on missions. My husband shared on "The heart of a missionary". I have been still feeling quite sad about the young man that died. I guess I am grieving with those who are grieving even though I didn't know him personally. He always was friendly and had a smile on his face while he worked at the coffee shop. Last night a... A Friend Came by Just At the Right Time

It's getting late, so I'd better write while I can. If I am not able to read blogs now I think I'll have time tomorrow and Monday. I was very glad when we got the 2nd cleaning job done, as I didn't really want to clean today. I felt a little down. I think I started getting in the wrong frame of mind, saying things like, "I don't have any friends here." Then I remembered Velda, but thought she was so busy all the time. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
