Locked Out

This morning I got up and thought I'd try to get to work early so I wouldn't be rushing so much. I got there at 6:45 a.m. and guess what? My key would not work! I kept trying it and at that moment really wished I was a locksmith. Finally the lady that cleans the other half of the building showed up. Her key didn't work either, so I figured they changed the locks. The problem was that the office workers would be there at 8:00 and then I would only have 1 hour to clean all the rooms. Getting extras done

Today is the day I've chosen to be a day off. I don't have to clean offices and can do extra things that need done. Today was quite warm (62 degrees F). In the morning Greg and the girls swept the leaves up. Then, he and the boys leveled the motor home. They also worked together to make the bed frame wider, as we are getting a new bed tomorrow. "DO NOT CLEAN MY DESK, I DO IT!"

I only have a minute to write. Today I skipped one of the offices and Greg did them with the 2 girls. I cleaned the bank with the 2 boys. After I was done we had to go back to the first office, as we only have one vacuum. They did really well, but I did find something that I had to do over. That is the office where they are quite picky. One lady wrote a note again, "DO NOT CLEAN MY DESK, I DO IT!" She had it up before and I quit cleaning it totally. God is good

What a day! (I think someone was praying for me). Yesterday I was stressed out just thinking of today, as my schedule was going to be tight. I woke up with a bad headache. I decided to keep pushing the snooze until I felt better. By 8:00 I felt better and got to my first job at 8:30. The headache was still there and threatened to come back, so I took some aspirin and coffee. I only had time to eat an apple. He is "In our midst" when we pray

Today is a much more relaxed day. Even though I got to work later, I was able to clean the offices much quicker, as I used my "Assembly Line Cleaning" idea. I didn't get the job doing the laundry there, but maybe that's for the best. I am doing Algebra with my 2 sons, age 15 and 17. They are doing well and I'm doing OK too. They told me they would help me when I can't figure it out. That's funny, but it's fun to do it together. Levi is building a planter box for his chili plants he wants to try... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
