Clueless
I ran into an old friend of my parents’ today, we chatted briefly and she asked me how I was doing and how is my son, the usual questions. Upon inquiring what I was doing in the market I held up the bag in my hand to show her a pack of nappies for Adam. She was quiet for a moment “ you know, we were talking about you yesterday; you had great potential. Things were not meant to turn out this way”. I had nothing to say to that, I didn’t even try.
