Ancient practice
Today I had to take Adam with me for an archaic errand that is no longer practiced in civilized countries: Paying the phone bill IN PERSON. I had qualms about taking my sick boy out even though the weather was beautiful and he was feeling much better. As it turned out, Adam had a fantastic time; and I suppose it made a pleasant change from all those boring kiddie places. In fact, I had to drag him out when we were done!
