Okay now something's gotta give. I just read in the Baltimore Sun that the average person with a bachelor's degree earns $65,000 per year. I have a bachelor's and I earn barely half that $33,875. Gotta do something, not sure what yet but something. I think I have to resist the temptation to take all... Sign in to see full entry.

Late fees and everyone is right
Hmmm let's see what's up today. Pretty okay day at work. I'm liking what I'm doing right now, but it's not forever. Big relief when the rental office told me that I should go ahead and pay my share of the rent, even though roommate can't pay his. He said he'd pay the late fees. I just didn't want it... $1.49 lubricant and Service Coordinators
All that aggravation and two days missed from work and it's all fixed with $1.49 tube of lubricant. Amazing. And who knew that having a roommate who works in a locksmith shop would come in so handy. If it hadn't been for Cornell I probably would have ended up paying hundreds of dollars to have the... Sign in to see full entry.

Stubborn keys, monitors and dating others
What a bizarre afternoon. Went to the bagel bin after my workout and when I left I couldn't get the car started again, the key wouldn't turn. I've been having that problem a lot lately but this time it didn't turn for hours. I finally gave up and called a tow truck, then the key finally turned... Sign in to see full entry.

Midlife Crisis and car naps
Boy that was a wild story B told me about L. I can hardly believe it. After ten years with G, L goes to Asilomar meets another guy dumps G and moves to Canada to be with this other guy. I thought L and G had one of the most solid stable relationships of anyone I knew, gay or straight. You hear... Sign in to see full entry.

Tempremental Ignition Switches and Class discussions
Unexpected day off today due to the cold weather and my car's imperfect ignition switch. I always have trouble turning the key in cold weather but this morning it was soooooo cold (11 degrees) that no matter how much I fiddled with it, I couldn't get the key to turn. So I had to call in and use one... Sign in to see full entry.

Dating others and writing resumes
A little tired this evening must be from working hard all day. Looked into going to toastmasters tonight but it turns out there was no meeting. It turns out they don't meet every Monday, just one Monday a month and tonight wasn't it. I'm getting serious about dating other women now. Lisa's whining... Sign in to see full entry.

Wrong forecasts and TV/VCRs
That snowstorm was kind of a dud. It was over a lot sooner and had less snow than they thought. I don't know any other job besides weather forecaster where you can be wrong so often and still keep your job. Used Dad's Christmas money to buy a combination TV/VCR. Been a long time since I've had a... Sign in to see full entry.

Poor customer service and zero love offering
If y'all want a nice hassle sign up for Netzero internet. I've never gotten such poor service in my life. Will probably do a whole post on it later. They were a little concerned that I messed up those cics forms, but I really just didn't understand them, or rather misunderstood them. Now I do. I... Sign in to see full entry.

Insomnia and giving up on monitors
Must have been the power of suggestion. Someone wrote the other day about bloggers having insomnia and I had it last night First time in years I had it that bad. Reluctantly called in sick to work, don't have much sick leave. But I was afraid that if I went to work in that condition I really would... Sign in to see full entry.
