This version was a kids' TV show from the 60's. I think the US Navy version went back to the war..

First, the heatwave was out of control, and then the rain took its place for several weeks. The rainwater has caused flooding and landslides around Pittsburgh. Those are some crazy looking starships. The Thunderbirds I am familiar with are Navy fighter jets.

When you have a few dominating the masses the priority will never be about the good of all. Man is a selfish beast and benevolence eludes him in the hour of need in my humble opinion.
