Re. Attracting readers to my blog!

I just started a fiction blog today, TheGuiltofInnocence. Is there a way to attract readers, or at least to let them know I'm here?

Thanks!

Brian dear, i love blogit so much and im addicted to my journal since four years

but i have been in some stupid lawsuit with my blog (nothinfg was wrong with it) and theyve been stalking my journal since, the main reason i came here was because they have to pay me if they want to keep onn stalking andx that scares them off but if you do trial periods, the will read it, print it and copy i t (a violation  of my privacy and copyright but they dont care)

i don't like the idea, what do you think?

Will I be charged for having 12 blogs?  And .. do I  have to have been a subscriber since May ... or only get the Price  from May for those price changes?

Brain dead angel~~

Becky....

I think there is a problem with my comment page .. it has been stuck on the comment saying 27 minutes ago .. this early this afternoon... I know I have gotten comments after that .. because Kelli was commenting me .. through the comment of blogit page...  what happened to my comment page?

Question.

How can I add the web counter to my blogs? I have noticed a lot of blogs having them now. It makes sense to have one on mine, yet, don't know how!?

General Blog Questions

1.  Confusion about rankings.  When I look at my Member Profile page, I see my 5 blogs and they all have Popularity Rankings of 446, and 480 and so on.  Yet, When I look at the list of blogs under their category, like 'Pets' it is sorted by Popularity, my blog is number 9 on there?  I don't get this difference?

2.  I see blogs that have multiple postings under the same blog title.  For instance, if I click on http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/A.Winters1280/ I see postings for several different days underneath the same title.  I don't get it, why not just create a seperate blog every time you write?  Especially if the subject and title are different.  I'll click on a blog heading and the subject will be different from what I clicked on.  I hope this question makes sense.

Earnings

I read that you can withdraw earnings any time you have $5 in your account. Does this mean that if you cancel your subscription and you have less than $5 at that time, Blogit gets to keep whatever money is in your account?

Please Make Clear Impact Of New Plans On Existing Bloggers

I found the information provide unsatisfactory and as I clicked through to find out more I found that my plan was changed. I was simply trying to find something beyond the sketchy info given and I thought I would hit an "are you sure?" button. Before I knew it my plan was changed. I would like that to be reversed until it is made clear what the changes mean to existing members.
Am I to understand that were I opt for gold or silver i would be up for more money? If so how much would that be.
1) I am a little concerned at the price hike. I am one of the "big" earners here but in the past few months I have only just covered my subscription each month. I take your point about more money coming from new people but it seems to me that everyone will have to get many, more readers to stand a chance of breaking even. There is no guarantee anyone will earn more but there seems to be a guarantee that some people will pay more.
2) The details are also confusing in that if you are a "basic" blogger will you now be able to continue to run pictures?
3) will people like me who have several posts but never use pictures be paying for something we don't use?
4) On top of all that Blogit subscribers who use Macs do not enjoy the full experience - no emoticons, not automatic linking etc. Will a Gold or silver service improve that. For my own part I already pay for a number of features which are unavailable to me.
In answering my questions you may answer the questions in several other bloggers' minds.
p.s. please delete previous version of this post.

doesnt the basic subscription allow unlimited space for writing, and why do the bscriptions go up for the basic, we wont be able to cover the costs with    or earni ngs and many will really ;leave +
