Good Questions

1.  Blog popularity rankings, as shown on each member profile, are based on the number of unique readers each day for the past seven days. We believe this is a useful indicator of the value of a blog, since it benefits blogs that consistently attract readers.

"Unique readers" means that no matter how often someone reads a blog, they are only counted once when the rankings are calculated. The purpose is to ensure fair rankings by allowing each person to only "vote" once.

Rankings are based on all blogs hosted on Blogit, not just within a category, that’s why your blogs are listed within each category at a higher level than the total ranking might suggest.

2.  Rather than create a new blog every time you have something to post, you may wish to consider adding posts to a single blog. This can help your readership, rankings and earnings, since readers will be more likely to remember your blog's name.

To do this, click "Write" (at the top-right corner of the page) and click "Add post" next to the name of your blog. You can add as many posts as you like, as frequently as you wish.
