How do you determine which category your blog has been assigned to?

Q #1: How does a blog become a "featured" blog on the home page?

Q #2: The number that appears after rank for your blog, is that your rank in that category it's listed in or is that your rank over all blogs throughout the entire site?

Every time I try to link a chart, I end up with nada.  Any help would be appreciated.

Every time I click on a new post in someone's blog.. rather than see their new post, I see whatever post I read of theirs, last.

Being that I have read almost EVERY blog worth reading at least once, I am COMPLETELY unable to see any new posts of interest..

I can't get my picture to post on my about me page.  I don't know why.  Any ideas?  I can see it just fine when I log on, but no one else can.

Where it says "Earning Rating" on a member's account profile, is that the total amount of money they have made since joining the blogging network? Or is that just the current balance after like payment deductions they've already withdrawn?

When I hit the "email this page" link I get an error message. What to do? Thanks.

I saw info about adding counters a while ago, but it looked incredibly confusing. Is anyone able to explain how to do it without descending in to esoteric ramblings? I'd appreciate any help you can give.
