I posted a photo of me on my trusty old YZ125 some time ago. In the photo I was clowning around, trying to make it look like I was cornering. I stumbled across a photo of my son, Nathan, actually railing a bermed corner the way it is supposed to be done. The difference is obvious, his kick-stand... Sign in to see full entry.

Meet me in St. Louis.
Ricky Carmichael falls, James Stewart stalls, Chad Reed in the lead when the checkered flag falls. Chad Reed must have felt as if the Gremlins of motocross got off his back and visited his competition in the St. Louis round of the AMA, Amp’d Mobile Supercross. Ricky had a very uncharacteristic crash... Sign in to see full entry.

San Diego Lites action.
The start is the key to the race. Twice Mike Alessi found himself at the front of the pack into the first turn. The first time, in his qualifier, he went wide and failed to capitalize on his hole-shot. The second time, in the main, he made it stick, but was passed by Andrew Short who then opened up... San Diego race was a chase.
James Stewart proved his will be a name to be rememberd for some time to come. In his qualifier, he and Jeremy McGrath tangled on the first turn and James was punted off the track through the tuff-blocks and had to re-enter dead last. Now, dead last in a six-lap heat race is a hard place to make up... Sign in to see full entry.

Anaheim 3 all in the start.
James Stewart and Ricky Carmichael both won their qualifiers. So it all came down to the start. James and Ricky were among the first to enter the first turn and James was the first to go down, as his front tire refused to go around the turn. James was back up and underway, going up several spots in... Sign in to see full entry.

Playing in the mud.
Slithering would be the best way to describe the action when the Supercross Lites class took to the quagmire at San Francisco last weekend. Ryan Villopoto won his qualifier and too the holeshot in the main event, only to find out why everyone was taking it easy. He launched over the finish line... Sign in to see full entry.

The mudder of all races.
Rain, the great equalizer. When Supercross dirt tracks become inundated with rain, control of the bikes leans heavily on the side of luck. San Francisco found itself the recipient of such bad luck as host of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross series. Standing water on the start straight was a clue to... Sign in to see full entry.

Grant Langston head of the Supercross Lites class.
The old master showed the young kids the fast way around the track as the Lites took to the Anaheim 2 racing circuit. Whiz kid, Ryan Villopoto won his qualifier but couldn’t overcome a bad start in the main, but for only his third Supercross, he has no one to make excuses to. In a talented field, he... Anaheim 2, wild & wooly.
I have probably given the impression that the Premier class of the Amp’d Mobile Supercross series was predictable, maybe ho-hum even. Well, my pre-conceived notions were blown right off the couch at the drop of the gate. The hole shot went to David Vuillemin with Ernesto Fonseca and Jeremy McGrath... Sign in to see full entry.
