Since I have been doing this post, I have become more aware that I should practice what I preach. Last night I went outside to get some firewood and saw a gorgeous sunset. I grabbed the camera a... Mr. Answers gets serious part two (illustrated)

Dear Mr. Answers: Once again I am asking about things that tangle, like ropes, long extension cords, even garden hoses. All persons, All over. Dear All: I learned this trick many years ago from a mechanic who was watching me struggle to untangle a long extension cord that had more knots in it than... Sign in to see full entry.

Someone once said...

I think I shall never see...something about a tree. Well, a tree photo that didn't turn out quite as planned turned into an opportunity to play with my photo editing software as suggested in the comments. So this photo. Became this impressionistic tree. And then this neon tree. What fun! Sign in to see full entry.

The zoom is the thing

Not much to say here, just three photos shot at increasing zoom values to illustrate the different aspects of one scene, a branch on the Maple trees that turns a different color than the rest, dressing itself in red hues as opposed to the nieghbor branches yellows and gold. So without further ado,... Sign in to see full entry.
