Thanks for the constructive feedback. I've now rewritten the first part. I will continue writing the rest of the story this evening. What’s the worst possible scenario for parents apart from the unthinkable? Apart that is from outliving our children or the shame and sorrow of knowing that one of our offspring has committed a crime which will mean he/she will spend years in prison etc. How we define such a calamity varies...
