Book Review: Eagle Strike (Book 92 of 100)

Another Alex Rider tale to review before I fit the bed. It's the saddest one in my opinion. This is a great pitchfork book, meaning it has lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed this tale, especially because I'm an American and this book had a very American tone. I don't know why, but it felt like that... Sign in to see full entry.

Another Alex Rider adventure. This one features a crazy Russian who wants to rule the world. Why does poor Alex keep running into our Alex? This kind of books make me wonder if there are this many crazy folks in the world. God I hope not! Alex tries to act like a normal 14 year old, getting a... Sign in to see full entry.

Book Review: Artemis Fowl and the Atlantis Complex (Book 89 of 100)

This is the seventh book in the Artemis Fowl series I'm sad to report that after the next one according to the author there will be no more Artemis books. Because Artemis will, i guess, will be too grown up by then. It always seems that way with good adolescence hero we can never follow them into... Sign in to see full entry.

I read this book on the train to Washington DC in route to ADAPT i finished when i was coming back. I don't much like mystery books but regular readers know i am a big Monk fan and even a bigger fan of Lee Goldberg. The thing that attracted to me to this book was that it featured one of my favorite... Sign in to see full entry.

Question of the Week: is this stealing?

My housemate and I are arguing. They got kicked out of their apartment because they couldn't pay their rent. My landlord said they couldn't stay with me, because they moved out of their house before housing court evicted them. She said that by the time court was decided it would have been after... Movie Review: The Invention of Lying

I'm not much of a Ricky Gervais person. I hate The Office. The boss character is such a creep. I wasn't particularly interested in the movie, but I went to library and it was all they had. I had a bad day today. My assistant recommended I watch it. I said "Okay," but not really thrilled. It was... Sign in to see full entry.

Movie Review: Terminator

I am a big Terminator person as you know if you read this blog regularly. I rented the original Terminator from the library because I was sure there'd be lots of commentary. There isn't. There is some commentary with the deleted scenes, but not a whole movie commentary like I was hoping for. It's... Sign in to see full entry.

Movie Review: Helvetica

I never knew people had such strong opinions about typefaces until I saw this documentary. I ordered it from the library only because A.J. Jacobs whom you all know I worship in a way talked about seeing it on his Facebook page. Yes, I'm a big geek who acxtually follows A.J. Jacob's Facebook status.... Sign in to see full entry.
