Hotel bathtub laundry and throwing kids

I had a very surreal dream. I'd better write down the parts I remember right away! So guess what! You all get to read them! * JOY! * <--------------- sarcasm Okay, I was vacationing somewhere with my brother, his wife and the Baby Bunny. I don't know where their kids were. There were unrelated... Morning notes: death penalty, Star Trek and "Harvard of the West"

Both local newspapers are bursting with melodramtic pride that this year's freshman class at Arizona State University contains many national merit scholars and other high-achieving kids. One paper printed the outrageous assertion that ASU can be called the "Harvard of the West." Uh.... NOOOOOOOOO!... Sign in to see full entry.

The new schedule is working!

Last Wednesday I attended a workshop about balancing priorities and managing multiple projects. Yesterday and today I've put some of the principles into action. I grouped work tasks together -- rather than working through one client file at a time -- and made a scheduled space for every noteable... Sign in to see full entry.

The Pray With Bunny Spritual Center

I thought some of the regular Bunny Blog readers might be interested in something I've just posted to Pray With Bunny. It's an idea for a multi-purpose spritual center. Sign in to see full entry.

Is there a universal conspiracy against my writing?

The past few days have been pretty rocky. Today I set aside a few hours in the morning to write something that I am very inspired to write. But before I could begin, I developed computer problems -- for the second day in a row! My brain can't ignore this problem long enough to write, so now I'm on... Sign in to see full entry.

Party/Surviving Cancer/Drunken White Men

Last night I went to a great party at a friend's house. I went alone; it was a party for grown-ups and not really Otter's scene (lots of artists and creative people in creative clothing talking about stuff that bores Otter to tears) so he and the Baby Bunny got some DVDs and... I think a News Fast may be in order

I've got to stop reading anything but the comics on the weekends. There's too much that makes me mad that I can't do anything about and it's a stressful way to start an otherwise nice weekend. Of course it's hard to miss a screaming headline saying we're still not rid of those wretched... Sign in to see full entry.

An amazing suggestion from Otter

Otter, the Baby Bunny and a friend of mine heard me sing tonight. (You can find the details in Jazz Baby.) Afterwards, Otter said he was very proud of me, and suggested that my office in the new house should be a music studio. I was floored. In the past, he seemed to just tolerate my... "A Congressional Land-Speed Record!"

Today Congress overwhelmingly passed a bill introduced just this morning giving the FTC the power to keep the Do Not Call list. Someone said, "You see how fast Congress can act when 50 million Americans are angry!" Sign in to see full entry.

Action Needed! We MUST have that Do Not Call list!

Have you heard? A judge has ruled that the FTC doesn't have the authority to set up the national Do Not Call list. Apparently the judge's number was posted on the internet so everyone can call him to complain! But an even better way to solve this problem is for Congress to give the FTC the necessary...
