I'm female Still!
I'm forty-two Still!
I live in the southwest. Still! We are building a house in a more desert-y area. We finally broke ground!
I have a husband (Otter) and a daughter (the Baby Bunny). Yep!
I felt all enthusiastic about working very hard
at my guitar after I received good comments from the judges at a music
competition a few weeks ago, but have I practiced more? No. And I still haven't!
I am now seriously into horseback riding. The
Baby Bunny and I are leasing two horses and we ride three times a week.
I am very protective of my riding time and never want to miss it. I
also like making the horses purty. Still serious! I took my first "big girl" jumping class last week.
I jam skate. Not
any more: I joined Otter's speed-skating team! I don't have speed
skates yet, so I'm practicing in my art blades. I should get a medal
for speed skating in heels, three wheels and no wheel under my toe!
I haven't bowled in at least six twelve months!
I own my own business. Still, thank goodness!
I'm a polytheist, and I run an
alternative-religion social and learning group for teens, which went
into hiatus for a few months and now I can't figure out how we'll get
it going again. Still on hiatus. But we had our Yule circle -- a week after Yule.
I listen to NPR, but I no longer seem to have the time to listen to Al Franken on Air America. Still
no Al. I took an all-news break a few months ago when I was stressed to
the max and I didn't freaking care about the problems of the rest of
the world. But I'm back now.
I am currently reaching for the following goals:
1. Get back to blogging without wasting too much time at it.
2. Not wasting time in general.
3. Did I mention that I tend to waste time?
