&#@*$% = Cheney

This is a reprint of today's essay by Sam Coppersmith, former member of the U.S. House of Representitives and current Democratic Party activist. He writes are regular column for the Tribune newspapers called "Civility In Politics." I added bolding, for emphasis, to some lines.... Sign in to see full entry.

The Baby Bunny wrote to us!

We received two letters today, both postmarked yesterday, although I'm sure one was written the day before. Now I feel bad that I didn't mail the postcard I had written for her today! I got busy working and Otter brought home take-out chicken for dinner. But I'm going to mail her a package tomorrow... Sign in to see full entry.

My Reading for Wonky

Here is my reading for Wonky: I read a double draw for you, Wonky, because the cards simply refused to shuffle correctly the seventh and final time. I was hoping that the second draw would either confirm or deny the legitimacy of the first draw, and that if the first draw were good, it would give us... Sign in to see full entry.

Up All Night!

Yes, I'm staying up all night! We drove back from Sedona this afternoon, then spent some time looking at home stuff at Expo and then we spent the rest of the evening at Auntie Y's. We got home after 10pm, and Otter got to go to bed, but we have irrigation tonight, and since Otter has to go to work... Sign in to see full entry.

More About Sedona

Sedona was once an artists' colony, but in the eighties artists were surplanted by new-age mystics. Sedona, you see, is supposed to featured "energy vortexes," which were once all the rage. Although vortex tourism is still popular, it has been surplanted by a more millenial activity: four-wheeling... Sign in to see full entry.

The Bunny-Otters are on the road again!

On July 4 we dropped the Baby Bunny off at camp. More about that later; first, I had better write about the trip so far before I forget! Our first stop was the annual art fair in Prescott, Arizona held in the park that surrounds the courthouse. I've tried to find a website for the artfair, but there... Sign in to see full entry.

Bunny is hitting the road!

We're leaving tomorrow morning to take the Baby Bunny to camp, and then we're spending a few days on a little romantic vacation. I can't wait! Although I must say I will FREAK OUT after we leave the Baby Bunny at camp. I am waiting to FREAK OUT until then because I certainly can't let the Baby Bunny... Sign in to see full entry.

Thoughts About Communications

I thought somewhere I had explained more about good and poor communications, but I can't find it. Anyway, I know I've told some of the people for whom I've given readings to make sure they are writing, speaking and formatting clearly. But I neglected to point out a completely different area of... My Reading for SFTreat

Update for Sftreat: See the RED updates below! Here is my reading for Sftreat: Something interesting happened while I was shuffling the cards, Sftreat. My cards are homemade, so I can see through the tops of some of them. I noticed that the Communications Management card stayed on top for three... Sign in to see full entry.
