Tipping the Servers

My rule for tipping at restaurants is to tip 20% or $15, whichever is higher. We often read that $15 is the living wage. Given the fact that eating out takes about an hour, the server deserves the $15 in my mind. I have had many thankful servers over the years. Sign in to see full entry.

9 or 10:30?

Up until about a years ago, sleeping in for me meant waking up no later than nine a.m. Nowadays, I may end up sleeping up until 10:30 a.m. This has happened during some vacations and when COVID-19 had the car washes closed. See a Trial

Something I would like to do one day is to attend a trial. The trial does not have to be a big media one; I would be fine watching even just a regular, mundane trial. New Flagging

When I was going to work the other day, I saw an interesting sight with the road construction. Instead of the flaggers having their tradition Stop and Slow signs, they had a sign machine of some sort that had those signs on it.
