Ode to Tugboats

Doctor What?

Early 2000s. Dad had one heckuva Freudian slip at the Burger King drive thru. My mother wanted a Dr. Pepper. Dad gave our orders and concluded with the sodas. "Two Sprites, a Coke and a Dr. Pecker." Twenty-plus years later, and we still talk about that one. Sign in to see full entry.

The Season Is Getting Ready to End

My walking season ends on Halloween. Now is the time when I realize the walking season is going to end. I can see the days getting shorter. My Least Favorite Soda

Dr. Pepper is by far my least favorite soda. What I do not like about it is the peppery taste. For me, a great soda is one that is sweet. I do not find there being anything sweet about pepper.
