Grumble, grumble…with all the anticipation of being able to actually watch the first period of hockey on TV instead of having to listen to it on the car radio during my drive home…it didn’t happen. The recycling truck comes around only once every two weeks. Two things I expected to happen yesterday – didn’t. The first was that my DIL, Yoshiko, has a bad cold, so she stayed at home instead of coming up with my son & Pat.
