Picidae vs Turdus

Hairy visited yesterday. He only comes when I put a certain kind of suet square in the feeder--the one with cracked corn, millet, peanut pieces, grain, hot red pepper flakes and berries. Downy comes also, and usually Flick and Sap. Red never comes out of the forested area, but we can hear him over... Sign in to see full entry.
