Love the mental images of woodpeckers. I always liked them in all

varieties I've seen. And again, Son #1's poem is great fun.

I can hear the woodpeckers off pecking in the woods, at times but I am not putting out the suet feeders just yet so none around the house.

Loved #1's poem....every morning now there is dew on the grass and a red red Robin comes bob bob bobbing along. Actually it stands very still and then pounces...

I do not recall ever having seen a woodpecker in person...A good poem there.
