Officially Middle-Aged

If we accept "threescore years and ten" as the normal life-span for the human being, then I am officially middle-aged today. I have completed my thirty-sixth year of life, and I now embark on year thirty-seven. So I have passed the halfway point in the seventy-year normal lifespan. I feel strange...
