out of my comfort zone

Yesterday I had to leave my office and take someone up to the Intensive Care Unit. I never go up to the clinical areas so I ended up getting lost. Just setting foot in ICU immediately unleashed a flood of sad associations: the endless times I've seen my parents hooked up to machines and my brother... Sign in to see full entry.
