Hope all is better?? Our hospitals are pretty good though somewhat understaffed and underfinanced. It was a momentary unsettled feeling, I ate lunch and got on with the day.

The hospital experience is still vivid in my mind. As you know, mom was hospitalized 2 weeks at a local hospital. I don't know how the hospital you work at operates, but this neighborhood one is an animal house. If family members aren't around to look after their sick relative, they might not find them alive the next morning. Sickness and death is something no one can adapt to and yet no one can avoid. Why? What is the purpose to suffering? Mel

I feel for you RobDon...
I hate hospitals. I've never required the ICU, but I've had ten surgeries, so every time I have to go near a hospital or even to a doctor's appointment, I get so nervous I nearly vomit. For years, I wanted to go to medical school...Thankfully, that wasn't the plan God had for me.
I'm sorry this expirience was so rough for you. Several years ago, my dad had a heart attack and just going to visit him made me so ill I had to leave the room.
BTW...I've noticed you've not stopped by to read me for sometime now...Have I bored you to death or something?....

Hospitals have always been scary for me
Last year, there were a few months were I was in and out of the local ER 4 times. Not for me, but for other people. But it didn't make the experiences any less rattling.
